im finally here to blog again. what a difference two days can make you know. one day it may be sunny [like ahzi's song 'ming tian qing tian'] while the next day can be cloudy [like ahzi's song 'tian hei hei'].

sheesh i jus experienced such a scenario for today and yesterday. TOTALLY. out of this world.

while yesterday was such a nice day due to the fact that we had PERCUSSION SECTION OUTING!ok ok, so not too many pple went, in fact, only me, joyce, emilie, weiloong and randy went for dinner. but it has been such a long time since we saw joyce, and naturally being our MAMA of the section last year. we, or rather i, was estactic to see her again!and we initially wanted to meet at clarke quay mrt at 7.30pm. but percussionists being percussionists, OF CUS EVERYONE WAS LATE.! and jo pang seh-ed us again. wahahah!but it's ok la. there'll be a next time. so the time that everyone arrived, was at 8pm LOL. den we wanted to eat at the indonesian buffet but there were SOOOO MANY PPLE and we were practically starving. so we jus headed over to fish&co. at orchard to eat.

yummy!the food there was not bad. calamari was good. and i tink after so long of not eating prawns, and after eating the prawns in the seafood platter, i conclude that im not used to eating prawns ANYMORE IN LIFE!the prawns ytd tasted...........bland. haha. but the calamari IMO, is the best.and the raisin rice was good. fish and chips not bad. hehe! but the shocker came when we ordered the ice blended and it was SO FREAKING HUGE!but me and joyce managed to finish it. WAHAHA!we're pros!

the best and nicest part? joyce treated us!sound very cheap skate hor? but next time we'll treat joyce back! and the price was soooooooooo expensive!she jus give her card and sign. all of us OPEN EYES BIG BIG SIA. THANKS JOYCE FOR THE DINNER!

after such a nice day, you'll tink the rest of the week would be as nice and smooth sailing as that. but YOU ARE WRONG!

today was the performance cum job for the standard chartered drummers @ The Comex Exhibition LOL that's what we're called lo. and whilst the pay is very good. BUT THE EXPECTATION that they're expecting from a 4-piece instrument band is JUS TOTALLY CRAZY, and out of this WORLD. they want something like WICKED AURA or something like SAMBA MASALA . totally crazy. we're only 4 people! we'll give it another shot tml. and hope the 400bucks comes to my pockets lo.

and what i can say in the privacy of this blog is that, i tink im not used to playing with a person from a different section in band. it's like us percussionists, we know when to stop/start all these. but because one of the members is from another section, that kinda makes it difficult. zzz. sry to say that, but i jus find it difficult. it's okay, jus endure for another 4 days and it's all done.

btw, i am going to see my ONE AND ONLY AHZI on sunday. hehe! because she's performing for the President's Star Charity . along with the hippo and other local mediacorp stars. we're gonna so drown the hippo's fans, if she has any. anyways i tink she'll be 'honking' her way through her performance. while my ahzi, is gonna RULE THE CROWD!hehe!

she's the motivation for me to get thru the work until sunday!
