anyway this is my first post of 2007!feeling quite excited about it. but i shall talk of the yesteryear; 2006.

2006 was quite a year where i broke some of those internal barricades within me and where relationships were somewhat bridged better. hmm. of cus the highlight of 2006 was definitely the esplanade concert for musical delights 29 and definitely definitely joining YANZIUNLIMITED and getting to shake my wei yi's hand. =D

it's a good ting i cant remember any sad things i guess. but i've really been more guai last year, being at home more with my mum and being there with her. and besides i've repaid all my debts and i even helped joyce pay her debts!wahaha. because u cannot owe people money over the year or something. it's bad luck. xD

anyways sunday which was the last day of 2006. had a big feast prepared by my lovely lovely ahyee to usher in the new year and to leave behind 2006!and what a feast!there was prawns, curry chicken[my fave], lian oh tang[ehh i forgot the name of it. hmm lotus root soup?], delicious rice [although new moon is better xD] vegetables and definitely a big family to eat dinner with. definitely good and i was satisfied. IMO, it's bad luck to me if u cant get a good meal to usher in the new year.

den went to esplanade as usual to see the fireworks which of cus the roads were HEAVILY BARRICADED!and although we left early and got a good carpark lot, we still had to squeeze in the rain and stuffs amidst the 'brotherhoods'. so motto of doing countdowns next time: FOLLOW THE BROTHERHOOD!best equipment to have during the new year.

plus plus!i totally didn't get to see my favourite pet hahaha. heard that it was raining and gong didn't perform in the end. for more info. please visit bee's blog.

sometimes the nearest place isn't the best place. in the end we [me, xian, william, qiaojun, jennifer and her 2 other friends] stood near the fire trucks and watched the fireworks. and it wasn't blocked or anything. however this year seems quite boring. i only liked the ending part where they jus let off all the fireworks xD the middle part was okok, quite boring. aft that had to trek back to the car park lot where we had a massive jam within the carpark and we were running low on fuel!

very worrying you know!if the fuel were to finish we might have to push the car from basement 4 to basement 1!!!!good ting william is a stunt man [mus be all the initial D training] and he just zooomed and out and to the nearest gas kiosk. XD after that headed to east coast to eat seafood that wasn't quite fresh. the satay stores all closed liao. den drove jennifer back and went back to xian's house. jus plonked down on the bed before closing my eyes at 4[was tossing and turning around. quite hot]

the next day. FIRST DAY OF 2007. had lunch before heading home. and oh yeah people who live in jurong or at buona vista. next time can take bus 185!it's direct and quite fast also!wahahaha. anyway i bathed at home and got ready to go out because had JOLIN FC OUTING!

woohooo was quite apprehensive at first. duno if will be embarrassing or anything. but aft the chow was eaten we settled down to games and forfeits. and i seriously threw my face already. haha all the dirty laundry aired out in public already xD oh btw, heard that zy and lala couldn't go cus they were sick. pls get well =D

i shall not mention the forfeits here. IT'S TOO EMBARRASSING HAHA!but i definitely had fun. and highlight and almost a highlight of the evening when we had to surprise eve with a birthday cake.!but eve ended up finding her own surprise because when queen opened the door eve was standing there. so much for steering her away from the line of fire ehh T_T but all the same we made eve take the candle out of the cake and her mouth was all dirty laaa!hahaha

went back home and here i am now!looking forward to the 2nd day of 2007. and it's time to get to my dramas and my RWP report. SHIAAAAAAAAAT!I LOVE SUN YANZI!!!!!!

WHEN RULES TURN LOOSE

Main Characters
Liza Wang, Myolie Wu, Sammul Chan, Patricia Lau, Waynei Lai, Marco Ngai, Ha Yu, Lee Shing Cheong

What, when, where and who
Suen Man Yee (Liza Wang), a lawyer, is well known in the industry and has helped many well known people win law cases. Three years ago, she decided to open a law firm and wanted to train her daughters to take over someday. Other than wanted to train her daughter, she also decided to open a law firm because of her husband. Her husband, Shum Yat On (Ha Yu), has heart conditions and she wanted to be by his side more so she wanted to daughters to take over….

Suen Man Yee (Liza Wang) has two daughters. Her older daughter, Natalie (Patricia Lau), is married to Raymond (Waynei Lai), and both of them works at Suen Man Yee’s firm. The senior partner of the firm is Keith (Marco Ngai). Her second daughter, Shum Yut Yeen ( Myolie Wu) is a Legal executive(LE) in the firm. She had studied law before, but in her third year, something happened that made her unable to continue her study……

On the other hand, Suen Man Yee ( Liza Wang) just hired a lawyer at her firm named Dick Ching ( Sammul Chan). His working attitude is very different from other lawyers and Suen Man Yee has confidences that he will become a successful lawyer…

THE FACTORS
- Love Factor
Waynei Lai

Oh my gosh!! He was like the best character in the series. He admitted that he has another woman just because Patricia wants to get divorced but yet, she doesn't’t want to admit that it’s her fault, even though Waynei doesn't’t have another woman. I love how he cared about the Shum’s family after the divorce thing. It was really Patricia’s loss that she decided to divorce with him.

Ha Yu and Myolie’s chemistry
One great father-daughter chemistry =). I love how Myolie would tell everything to Ha Yu and he uses stories to explain to Myolie and cheer her up. I cried when Myolie was looking at the pot of flower thinking of Ha Yu after he died, it was so sad =(. TVB should really consider them for another series…haha…

Waynei Lai and Myolie’s Chemistry
Gosh…they were such a cute brother/sister in law. Besides her father, Waynei might be the next one that knows Myolie the best in the series. He understands a lot about her and after Myolie's sister's and his divorce, they were able to keep up with a good relation, which made me feel glad.

Jacky Wong
That kid is just TOO adorable. He's so cute and mature in the series. His role was meant to seem like a man and it made me laugh a lot seeing him and hearing him talk like an adult. I wanted to pinch his cheeks so much…haha..

- Dislike Factor
Marco Ngai
He was so evil. I just hated him from the beginning to the end. From the impoliteness at the beginning (taking phone calls during conferences) I started to hate him. I was so glad that he left the company afterwards.

Lee Shing Cheong (Fei Sok)
I really hated him, probably even more than Keith. I thought at the end, he would turn back nice, but NO…he didn't…he betrayed the law firm. I was so happy that he was put in jail. But he caused many trouble already, though he went to jail.

The Ending
Ahhh! The ending was so sad, Ha Yu died when Liza went to buy him coffee. I was crying during that scene. It was very sad. There was a lot of crying for me in the last episode. Seeing Myolie cry in front of the flower made me cry. The pot of flower was bought since the time Myolie was in University Year 3 studying law. But because of the incident that happened that year, no one cared about the flower and Myolie promised to make it bloom. I hated how Patricia and Waynei never ended up together, but just became friends again.

Favorite

Patricia Lau
Yes, I hated her in the beginning. I mean..not cherishing what a good husband she has and going for a bad one? That's like what a wacko would do. But I started to like her when she was a part from Keith. That was such a smart choice. I really like the part where she walked into Liza's office and said she wanted to come back and help. It was so cool!

Waynei Lai
The reason is listed in the beginning already.

Hairstyle: Patricia Lau
I wasn't really going ‘wow' to any of the hairstyles at first. None of them attracted me or anything until at the end, where it went ‘2 years later', Patricia's hair looks absolutely stunning, and I love that hair! Haha..some people might think it looks messy, but I really like it. ^^

Couple:
Patricia Lau and Waynei Lai
Though they weren't together for long, I was quite happy already that they became friends at the end. However, it could have been better if they have ended up together at the end. They look quite compatible together, just that I don't know if Patricia is really taller than Waynei or not, but some shots look like she is. But they are definitely added to my ‘favorite On-screen couple' list. =D

Scene:

- When Myolie ended up in the hospital and Waynei came and visited her. Their facial expression and the way they talked were so cute.

Case:

Mr. Wong and his swear words cases
I absolutely loved that case. It was hilarious how he came to the law firm to explain what happened but wanting to swear because swear words had became his adjective already and without them he couldn't talk. And before that, when Myolie and the other LE went to visit him to ask about the case, the LE got ‘asked his few generations back' (swearing) by the guy and the LE couldn't even speak a word. That was really funny.

Worth Watching?

YES! Whether you're a law series fan or not, a Myolie fan or not, you will have to watch this series! Not only will you learn law facts, but you learn many ‘life lessons'. This is definitely my favorite series of 2005.

men should not accept our destiny, we should choose it.
never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
