Once a timpanist, always a timpanist.

band practice's gonna resume on the 16th of feb, friday. really looking forward to it. the feel of being a leader among the section and watching the young'uns coming in is really really as happy as homer simpson will be when he sees donuts.

that's a very very happy feeling.

suddenly thinking back to all those years, i've been actually banding, no, drumming for almost 12 years leh!that's like 2/3 of my life already. and i definitely don't see myself discontinuing drumming, because this is my passion and i've already come so far, no sense to jus stop rite?plus, joyce's gonna form a perc band and im of cus involved in it.

really hope this perc band can take off properly. sometimes i don't see myself doing any other jobs other than drumming. although the pay is like filthy low but it's what i like to do man. my dad was jus asking me last week on what i would really want to do. other than being a doctor [which is my super super ultimate number one] i really wouldn't mind a job that has to do with music.

i know i don't have much talents within myself. and that im not great in studying, not great in image wise, but sometimes i think to myself, im really quite adept at being a percussionist!and it's not as if i was forced into. okay, maybe primary sch that time i was forced a little, but i gradually learnt to love it. and every day i learn a new thing. i find myself improving and improving.

i don't have the money or the utilities to do what i wan [i.e piano], and truthfully, i get really jealous sometimes. i mean it's not everyone that learns piano wants to be a singer. u jus wanna learn it because of its elegance and it really helps ur musicality. i am definitely gonna take up more musical instruments when im older and earning my own money. or else i'll definitely regret this life.

i choose to lead a life of nomadity, not one that is lit up with monetary purposes.

i wanna learn the piano, the guitar, the bass guitar, the flute, the trumpet, the clarinet.

men should not accept our destiny, we should choose it.
never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
