haha we had the sp band graduation on sat. and my my what fun it was. initially yup it felt like a chore and it was a bore. but aft that it seemed that time jus passed by seamlessly!and joyce came to try our fried rice!!!
anyways had sectionals at 10 on sat. and 3 SECTIONS WERE THERE TOO!but of cus being percussion, we can't possibly move all the instruments up, so we had the luxury of the aircon. xD anyways we'll be playing ceremonium for the section comp. i shall hope that other SLs dun come in and spy. muahahahhaa. hope that i can do well, and bring back the percussion glory again!
after that, we decided that we should head over to steven's house to cook and at the same time have lunch. and surprise surprise, randy came. haha. i tink the others were quite surprised also. xD we went to shop and save to buy the stuff. and this steven likes to walk alot under the hot sun i tink. we were positively swealtering under the heat la. let alone spending that few bucks to take cab. which we obviously did. haha.
steven's house was cool. he had a drum set. but it's damn echoey hahaha. which i dun like. i prefer my cymbals to do the job.xD but apparently his mum's relative was a great cook and she helped us cook the fried rice haha. coool. i'll bet that if we did it ourselves we would have made a mess of it. xD
left around 5.15pm and alas the band room was locked, for a short while though. while waiting for the event to start at 7, me and linda and kelly and sixian were singing songs from my ipod. or rather, me and linda. hahaha.
yay the thing soon started. and being kiasu. of cus i took alot of food for the section while remembering to save some for joyce. i tink joyce has a super respectable face because when she immediately came, the jrs went quiet. haha. that respectable aura xD how i would love to have it.
SECTION PHOTO!
got SL tips from joyce xD and i shall implement them the next time. i realise i still have a lot to learn and i have to take advice from everyone as much as possible. =D
i really miss my seniors. i really do.
men should not accept our destiny, we should choose it.
never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
