Going to post up a sypnosis of the upcoming Mediacorp Ch8 drama - Taste of Love. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS SHOW!

Tao Le (Dawn Yeo), Ye Yudan (Candice Liu) and Yu Lingzhi (Michelle Chia) are secondary schoolmates who become good friends due to a common love for the same almond paste dessert at their favourite dessert shop. Despite having different personalities, they have remained close for over a decade.
Tao Le is weak in nature and often gets bullied. She is impaired in her left ear, thus creating some difficulties for her at work. Yudan works with Tao Le and frequently helps her get out of trouble; thus, Tao Le is extremely grateful to Yudan and has complete trust in her.
Tao Le’s grandmother used to own a restaurant called ‘Tao’s Family Kitchen’. However, Tao Le’s father, Tao Dacheng (Ye Shipin), is an incorrigible gambler and ends up selling the restaurant. Tao Le’s mother’s death is also indirectly caused by Tao Dacheng. After her death, Tao Le was raised by her grandmother. She has a younger step-brother called Tao Xi (Zeng Shao Zong) and they are very close. Tao Xi has always had a crush on Yudan. However, as Yudan has a boyfriend, Wang Xue Ren (Zheng Geping), Tao Xi hides his feelings.
While Yudan is more talented in cooking compared to Tao Le, she is eager for success and has no qualms about resorting to schemes and trickery to achieve it. Coming from a single-parent family, Yudan feels that her mother is bias towards her siblings. As such, she is rebellious and distances herself from her family. However, deep down, she yearns for her mother’s approval.
Lingzhi is a smart and independent young woman who is slightly impatient. She is full of womanly charms, and has many suitors. However, she currently refuses to commit to anyone and just basks in the attention. Lingzhi has a very chauvinistic boss Hu Yingbang (Chen Hanwei), who disapproves of Lingzhi’s attitude towards love and relationships, and often argues with her.
Lingzhi lives with her parents. Her elder brother, Yu Duzhong (MC King) has a wife, Ding Liyi (May Phua), who does not get along with Lingzhi. As they often quarrel over the slightest issues, Linzhi moves out in order to avoid more confrontations.
Tao Le has gained the appreciation of her boss at the restaurant and is promoted. While Yudan feels she is more deserving of the promotion, she hides her displeasure from everyone. The jealous Yudan then grabs at an opportunity to sabotage Tao Le, causing her to be dismissed. During this time, Yudan also misunderstands the friendship between Tao Le and Xue Ren and she breaks off her friendship with Tao Le.
Tao Le’s handicap creates her many obstacles while looking for a new job. She decides to rent out two rooms to supplement her finances. Lingzhi happens to be looking for a room, and decides to rent one from her.Tao Le rents the other room to a man named Fang Youfang (Dai Yangtian), recommended by Dacheng. Mistaking him for a female, Tao Le decides to turn him down when she realises his true gender but to no avail as he has already paid a year’s rent to Dacheng.
Lingzhi and Youfang begin to date each other; however, they do not share any common interests and are thus always quarelling.
Youfang comes from a wealthy family, but does not get along with his parents. During his university term, he switched courses without his parent’s knowledge. When he returns from overseas, he rents a room from Tao Le to avoid his parents.
With encouragement from Youfang and Lingzhi, Tao Le enters a cooking competition. There, she meets Yudan once again. After a fierce battle, Tao Le emerges the champion. Once again beaten by Tao Le, Yudan develops a deep hatred for Tao Le and vows to be her nemesis forever.
At this point, Lingzhi and Youfang break up because Youfang has developed feelings for Tao Le. Because of Lingzhi, they do not dare to reveal their feelings for each other.
After winning the competition, Tao Le gains confidence and decides to re-open ‘Tao’s Family Kitchen’. With her grandmother’s notebook of secret recipes, Tao Le creates dish after dish of amazing cuisine and ‘Tao’s Family Kitchen’ gains a name for itself in the culinary world. Jealous of Tao Le’s success, Yudan makes use of Tao Xi to steal their grandmother’s notebook for her. Yudan then opens a restaurant directly opposite Tao Le’s, and names it ‘Yudan’s Secret Recipes’. The fierce battle of the chefs thus begins...
This show looks freaking interesting. I mean, I actually can't stand Michelle Chia you know. I don't know why, but her face just pisses me off. So if Tan Hung Wee wasn't acting in this show, I wouldn't actually be bothered to watch it. Plus, he's acting another character role! Now he's acting as a 'LKK' guy. Check out his photos in the show below!

LOL, so funny! Hung Wee never fails to impress me!
