Well, it's been quite a long time since I've updated anything on this blog. Save for the fact that I do update the normal TVB stuff, but that's mostly just copy and paste. Sighs.

Anyway, I recently went for the Lee Brothers Garden Of Music Concert held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Well, if you don't know how the Lee Brothers are, they are Lee Weisong and Lee Sisong (What? Did you think it was Lee Hsien Loong and Lee Hsien Yang?) LOL~! The concert was IMO, not that good. The sound system was crappy and deterred the singers from giving their best, everyone was trying to hear properly while singing and that led to the over the top voices and volumes.

The invited guests were Jam Hsiao, Deng Miao Hua, Daniel Chan, Show Luo, Jolin Tsai and last but not least Stefanie Sun! Of course, not forgetting, there was a surprise guest appearance by Chongqing as well, who definitely stole the show (at least until Yanzi came in) posing as Aiyoyo Teacher! OMT! He was so amazingly cute can! WAHAHA!

Her performance as usual, was super nice! I especially liked her THH, and it was good to see her play the piano of other people's songs other than her songs. MBL wasn't done too well, cus she was yelling into the mic halfway through and her ear monitor fell out halfway through. But one thing made up for it all: her toned abs! LOL!

Enjoy the pictures below! Oh please, if you want to use the photos, feel free. But please upload them onto your own photo hosting site as it will take up my bandwidth. Thank you!

Simple Christmas, but a great one at that.

I'm glad for this bunch of friends, because without them, I wouldn't be able to face shitty things in life everyday.

This was the Devil's Chocolate cake that we baked for Queen for her birthday. After 7 hours of hard baking, even though I admit I didn't do much, but I helped okay, this was the end result, and I must say I'm pretty proud of the bunch of us. Not forgetting to mention Ade and ZY who were the maestros in the cake baking session, and without them, the Devil's Chocolate cake would have looked like something we produce in toilets.

It's not post processed at all, but thanks to Ade's (or was it Eve's) camera whose orange light was shone so beautifully on the frosting of the cake, the cake looked damn nice in that instance.

Queen's finally 20! Muahahaha! Now she's finally not a teenager.

Btw, Aston's @ Cathay is quite nice! Cheap too. Students, you can head over there and try, all just for under 15 bucks, if I'm not wrong.

OMG my frequency of blogging is seriously dropping! I'm becoming lazy! No, actually I've become busier. So busy until I have no time to think of what to blog. Anyway, I've been on a drama spending spree again! This time, 7 new dramas. I'm beginning to think it might be a waste of money, but who cares! I just need to get my TVB fix.

Speaking of which, I haven't bought my Taichi DVD yet lo! I'm just watching the DVDs that I loaned. LOL! My Vinlissa fever is coming back!

I know I haven't updated the event in Malaysia yet. To really keep it short, that trip was both saddening and happy at the same time. Tears of sadness and tears of laughter were both shedded on that 4 days there.

Just a tribute to him: I will always remember him for his love for stout and bak kut teh together, his shot gun which he used to hunt wild boars with. Not forgetting, the items that he gave to me: a crocodile tooth and my table tennis bat. He was always laughing and didn't mind how people looked at him. I'm glad I visited him the last time before, and that I'm happy that he's somewhere else, being freed from all the pain.

To my grandfather, you're one of the coolest grandfathers ever!

So, we celebrated our annual Lee Clan gathering on August 31st again. It was great, just that Bak Kwa face was in my way again. Seriously, does she even have an inch of respect? I'm actually referring to my grandfather's funeral. Oh well, long story. She basically managed to piss everyone off, just that I was the only stupid one who actually showed my black face.

Food was great at the gathering, and I've become a grandaunty already lo! OMG, some of my nieces are even older than me. Feels damn weird when someone calls you aunty. WAHAHA! But what age are we living in nia? Just call by name. LOL!

I've decided, I'm going back to study soon. I can't really take the politics from work at this time. Maybe when I'm more rubbed around the corners, I'll return back to work. But I'm looking out for management courses! Anyone knows of any local management courses?

Went for cycling yesterday. The seat was so damn freaking hard -.-. I think all our asses were like 'broken' when we got off the bikes. LOL! I'm probably not going cycling for a very long time to come. Cycling is fun, but not fun when your ass and thighs start to hurt. Maybe it's because we've not exercised for very long ba.

Plus, I think us exercising is like an excuse to pig out on junk food la, because we went Popeye's after visiting Queen. OMG! LOL. And we ordered so much food. All the exercising gone to waste. Never mind, next week will probably be badminton or table tennis again. Haha, I can't wait!!!

Okay, this post is gonna last for one week. Read your eyes out.

You know working takes your life away when you find yourself not blogging for like 9 days?! Wah that's like more than one week ago since I last blogged.

Sure, work's better than studying, at least you get money. But the novelty wears off quickly, unless you find you're working in a good environment, then that's a different case. The working environment I'm in now, is pretty okay, although I definitely prefer one department more than the other. I'm just waiting for the time when I can work in the company that some of us have said we want to do together. =D

Everyday it's just wake up for work, board the crowded train which I super DUPER hate, work at the computer, go home eat dinner, sleep and over and over again. The same old routine. I think Bee can understand the situation, now that she's also working. But at least hers is only for ITP!!!

Think I will definitely go back to studying first, probably by mid next year. I definitely don't see myself working and working forever. I'm not someone who works at the desk wearing nice clothes! GIVE ME UGLY CLOTHES TO WEAR!

Anyway, today's TT session was great. Initially I was feeling very down yesterday due to something. I think all of us were feeling quite depressed la. But today, it really brightened up my day. Sports can really destress us man. Anyway we're playing more sports next week! I super can't wait. It's like the thing to look forward after a week's work!

I have to be more encouraging though. I think I come down very harsh on people sometimes. =x

Badminton next week!

Sorry this post comes exactly one week late. Yup, was it one week? Yeah man, will never forget the historic date when Team Singapore won the table tennis women's team silver medal! WAHAHA! Okay, don't get me high again.

Anyway, we were at Botanical Gardens before the match! Because we wanted to see Dendrobium Stefanie Sun. Wah it's been like years since I last went to Botanical Gardens? I'm not exactly a fan of flowers and nature, but for the sake of photographs, I gritted my teeth and walked under the scorching sun!

Now, look. I'm so black T_T

Apparently, Botanical Gardens...............hasn't changed much? Haha, I don't really remember how it looked because I can only remember the Symphonic Lake the most. Anyway, we had a super hard time locating Dendrobium SNG and I can't believe we actually didn't locate our national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim.

The stupid national flower looks so small can! I thought it was very big lo. Actually, we didn't walk much, only in the Orchid Gardens. Botanical Gardens is soooooooooooo big can, I think it'll kill me if I had to walk the whole way. But if anyone wants to go for a picnic, I'M GAME!!!

Okay, the pictures of the flowers. I don't exactly think they're very pretty, but at least I tried right? =x

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Muahaha! Was in my dear motherland for the past week staring at dirty streets, tudung-wearing muslims, car pollutions, traffic jams and the likes. Oh yes, it's not difficult to guess. I was in Malaysia - Truly Asia.

Yeah right.

Now that my unfriendliness with Malaysia is done with in the first paragraph, now comes the friendliness with Malaysia. On top of the great food and the fact that I get to see my relatives, this trip to Malaysia held many firsts for me too!

Anyway, we went fishing at Rompin. And this was only my 2nd time going deep sea fishing. And to my surprise, the living conditions at the chalet was damn good. Heck, I was even inclined not to go out to sea on the 2nd day, just so I can watch TV. Hehe! Weather was great, the skies always looked like it was going to rain but it didn't. So ar, the skies were like a myraid of colors man!

It was a sad thing because I woke up abit too late to take the sunrise, but even when I woke up late, the view was still great. The calmness of the river and the fresh air. It's quite difficult to get fresh air in Malaysian cities you know, with all the pollution. So I really appreciated it.

I think I'm getting my sea legs anyway, because I've been able to withstand the currents at sea without feeling like I want to try up. Another few more times, and I will have gotten my seasickness out of the way!

Oh! The power of a good camera. Wahaha! This was the first time that I could really test my camera's shutter speed while we were cruising into the sea with all the waves crashing around the boat. Try taking a picture with the boat moving at like 60km/h and you're just basically bumping here and there. I had a super hard time man! But it was fun trying to catch the drops of water in the whitewater left behind xD

Didn't catch much this time because I've already caught a sailfish before, so Dad's friends tried it out. But it was abit disappointing, because out of 5 sails, we managed to successfully reel in 2 only. That's like a 40% success rate. OMG! So, I tried to catch a picture of the sail jumping out of the water, and trying to do that through the viewfinder was no easy feat, so I just randomly shot my camera in the direction of the jump.

I know, I know, it's too far at the top, but it's the clearest picture I've got! Wahaha! Anyway the biggest sail we caught was like about 4.5 people long and it was like mebbe 25-30 kg? Freaking heavy la. WAHAHA!

Oh yes, I caught some squids too. You know, squids are like one of the best things to catch because they fight you right until the end. Even when you've reeled the squid up, it still attempts to spray you with the ink. And the pull of the squid is not small either! I caught about 4 squids this trip and it was my biggest haul. Heck, the squids were like bigger than the size of my face? You can cook like 2 dinners of calamari with it man!!!!

We also caught some sharks as well. Shall not dwell too much on it, but these sharks are called gummy sharks. And no, they dun have fangs or jaws, but they will still bite people. These gummy sharks are small, even when they're fully grown. And they make good curry! WAHAHA! =x

Anyway that's my dad in the far left bottom corner of the picture. LOL!

Thrown in the line of good food were standards like my fave Bak Kut Teh, Hokkien Mee, seafood, soups, roti canai, curry and basically everything! Gosh, if not for the dirtiness and unhygenic condition of Malaysia, I will really seriously consider moving there.

Men should not accept our destiny, we should choose it.

Oops, a little too late. 19 minutes late to be exact. Anyway, this day (23/7) is a very important day. Because, my dearest and first and foremost role model/idol/inspiration in life celebrates her 30th birthday today! OMG! She's 30 years old!

At least the candles on the cake will be easier to blow, because there're only 3 big candles to blow out! WHEEEEEEEEE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AUNTIE SNG!

As usual, we went to Bakerzin to celebrate her birthday. Seems that whenever there's a celebration, we will go there to eat and celebrate! WAHAHA! And order our tapas as well *loves* Anyway, the seafood pasta was good man! And my banana pizza thing. Just the item to keep all the JMs at bay xD

Pictures to be up soon. Or maybe not here =D

But anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY YANZI!

Woots, it was a very fulfilling week!

First, there was the Omega Olympics event held at Paragon on Friday. Quite a number of artistes went of course. Pictures will be up soon! Anyway, the boss of Omega was quite hot man! And his girlfriend was freaking tall as well. Both angmohs =D

Borrowed Bee's lens for this event and I must say, I'm actually feeling really tempted to get one of those lens as well. Because I go for soooooo many events, and having to keep borrowing people's lens isn't exactly a very nice thing to do right? So that's it, I'm gonna get the lens le. AH BEE! WHERE TO BUY!

Then on Saturday and Sunday, there was the all awaited anticipated TVB Stars Tour! But this year's line up isn't very nice. There was Lai Lokyi, Fala Chen, Joe Ma (CHUNG CHUNG!!!), Susanna Kwan and Ha Yu. Out of these 5, 4 of them are in the over-rated Heart of Greed. [I can sense the hoards of people coming to shoot me after reading the sentence before.]

But anyway, we waited for like 4 hours and they came for like 1.5 hours only? LOL! Sometimes I wonder if it's actually worth it, but hey, we get to experience life one time only. Might as well make it as best as we can.

So, the artistes all sang songs. Joe Ma sang first, and he chose to sing one of my favourite Cantonese songs of all time!!! The theme from Truimph in the Skies! Wah, okay la, his singing wasn't that great, especially if you compare him to Eason Chan, who was the original singer. But together with his hotness (and not to mentioned, the half buttoned shirt), he made the entired performance enjoyable! =x

After that, Ha Yu came to sing. All of us were screaming 'Bao Bao!', because his name in HOG was that and he was absolutely unforgettable in the show with his laughter and stuff xD. But hor, he sang some old Cantonese song that I don't know man. I only know it sounded very very 70s and he was dancing along to the music. Very enigmatic xD

Games time! If I knew earlier that we can choose to be with the stars that we want hor, I would have volunteered myself. Because no one wanted to go with Joe! Except me, that is. Anyway, the contestants were supposed to find items of a specific color which they had chosen already. And Joe's was blue! But wtf, I didn't have any blue things to give him. In fact, most of my things was green! And Fala's was green. But cus I don't like Fala, so I didn't give her =x

Anyway, Joe won! YIPPPEEE!

Next, Fala sang. Guess what. Fala sang Yanzi's song la! KNS, she sang Yu Jian. But before she sang, she introduced the song. She was saying that we have this tian hou in Singapore, and that the song is very popular, so she wants to sing it and hope that all of us will sing it together. So when Fala said 'Yu Jian', I screamed. =x

And I was the only one who screamed la, and it was freaking loud. Because everyone turned to look at me. But as what JM said, Yanzi fans are born to scream. So.... "I am Lindsay Lohan!" xD However, Fala didn't do justice to the song la. She fumbled up the chorus and kept missing lines. Then I was singing with her, but I kept singing wrongly cus she kept skipping verses. And ar, she act better la. Not much better than singing, but definitely better =x.

Lokyi came to sing next! Wah most of the girls there were supporting him la! Not bad la, I admit he looks quite hot, but his mandarin. WAHAHA! He sang this song that I think most of us didn't know and it was a fast song. But I think he went off tune because the music and his voice didn't match. But good la, he was able to rouse the audience.

Finally, the crowd favourite - Sai Kam!!! Or Susanna Kwan. WAHAHA! All of us absolutely loved her, and when the first notes of the song was being played, everyone cheered. Because the song was the themesong from HOG and that's the best thing of HOG! And Susanna really sang it like how she sings in the studio, exactly the same. No wonder she's a singer la!

Went up to take autographs after that. Erm, I shook Ha Yu's, Fala's, and Lokyi's hand! WAHAHA! And I told Joe and Lokyi that I like them very much. But I think Joe couldn't hear me, but Lokyi said 'I like you too!' LOL! But I purposely said it in Chinese, and so Lokyi replied in Chinese and I almost burst my face trying not to laugh. HEHE!

Lastly, on Sunday. It was the same TVB event again. So I'm not going to explain all the details again. But the game they played was different! This time, it was to guess the names of the shows. And wah lao, I should have gone up la, cus I'm somewhat a TVB dictionary in my head. LOL! But the tiebreaker was funny.

The show was 'When a dog loves a cat', so Bao Bao imitated a dog. WAHAHA! The way he imitated the dog was so funny! He imitated the dog urinating and shaking his leg, but his partner couldn't guess it at all! We actually screamed the name to Susanna very early on, but she couldn't hear us properly! But anyway, Susanna won. WAHAHA!

Very fulfilling weekend I must say. But before I end the post, I need to scream a shoutout to my idol, whose birthday is today. Now, who can it be? Don't fret, look below to see the answer!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHU ZHU!!!!!
