i hate people who are irresponsible.

yes, sometimes i hate myself for being irresponsible at times too. but i definitely know when i should be responsible and learn how to put my priorities right. thanks to ms hang who was my sec 2 math teacher.

i remember the last post i was jus saying that i would be a bystander at the IBM concert. because there were too many percussionists. now i totally take that back. i am going to have lesser percussionists.

what turned out to be one of the most bountiful intake of percussionists there ever was in SP turned out to be a fraud. a total fraud. what i got was numbers, yes. but what i got BACK IN RETURN were jus uninterested people who thought nothing of saying 'oh i wanna join the band', 'yes im interested, and won't quit'

now i have idiotic irresponsible [dun force me to use an explicit vulgarity] people telling me 'i cannot cope with my work and band. i wanna quit the band. so i won't come from today onwards'

DO YOU TINK THAT BAND IS JUS FOR U TO SAY WANNA QUIT DEN QUIT?

if you tink it's that easy, trust me. it's not. i've been there and done that. and once u turn ur back on SP band, there's no turning back. right from the start when u introduced ur names to me, i already told u guys that u have to learn how to juggle between school and work. and it's just the first year. if it's already like this, den i cannot foresee how you guys can actually cope in year 2.

irresponsibility and lack of sense of time. that's all i have to say.

all the hopes i had for the section are jus dashed.

am watching glittering days right now. and im super in love with the song that roger sings for liza. AND IM TRYING TO FIND IT!!!!

The story is about the entertainment world during the 60s in Hong Kong. Liza Wong and Susanna Kwan are both singing teachers, who used to be very famous. Liza's music group travels a lot to find a place to sing, then Liza met Roger Kwok, who was a very famous singer. The two of them hated each other, but later Liza found out Roger is her own son. Susanna Kwan
At first, I have no idea who she is! Then, I realized she got the most amazing voice in the series. I also realized she sang a lot of classic TVB theme-songs before. Other than her singing, she is also a very talented actress. In this series, she plays Chris Lai's mother, who doesn't want her son to step into the entertainment world. However, Chris' love and passion about music slowly changed Susanna's mind. Then, she also found out she has cancer. In the very last days of her life, she sang the most amazing song, and that will make you cry like crazy, her voice, her tears and the beautiful song will melt your heart... "Just live for you for a day, this is my wish..."

Roger Kwok
"Mei Lan, Mei Lan, I love you.." Watching Roger sing is a great pleasure, even though he was doing lip-singing for some of the songs. That's ok, I still enjoyed his performances. From the beginning, he was so famous, and he didn't care too much about others, sometimes he expect too much from his band and dancers. Later, his career went downhill, he become a poor guy, but still in love with music. With Liza's help, he became a comedy singer. From all perspective, Roger did a great job in singing, dancing and performing.

Charmaine Sheh
Charmaine was so funny at the beginning when she could not speak well. It's funny that she can not pronounce any words clear. Also, when she takes her pig to the city, that's the most funny part in the series. In the city, Charmaine slowly matures and becomes a famous singer, but her love life wasn't so successful. When Charmaine becomes lucky and famous, Roger becomes unlucky. Charmaine tries so hard to help Roger, only found out Roger is looking down to himself...

- Dislike Factor -
Why 30 episodes?
There are some unnecessary parts in the series, which are totally useless. Those parts make you feel the series is dragging. I think this series will be perfect within 20 episodes, cutting some parts off (just don't cut the singing parts, I really enjoyed the singing parts).

Joel Chan
You will hate him when he betrayed Roger. He is so selfish, so useless, but he likes to get everyone's attention.

- Chemistry Factor -
Charmaine and Roger
They have a good chemistry. I love both of them, and I think they make a great couple on TV. The only thing is, they didn't share too much time together. That's a pity.

The Three Golden Flowers
I love to hear them sing and perform together! Especially hearing Susanna Kwan's voice, it's amazing!

Liza and Roger
Very interesting mother and son relationship, they hated each other in the beginning, but only found out they are mother and son. However, for Roger, he didn't find out this relationship until the very last episode. It's a little strange to see Roger hating Liza for 29 episodes, and changed all the sudden.

the ending is a good ending =D=D

men should not accept our destiny, we should choose it.
never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
