Wink

How's it going little ones?

I reckon someone would come right up to my doorstep to chomp my head off if I should postpone this posting any further. I have been remiss, and am terribly guilty AND apologetic.

WELL.

Since the last message, I have been to Africa, Paris and Prague. I am looking forward to a relaxing trip to Shanghai, Hongkong or possibly Tokyo.

During the times when I had 'disappeared from the face of mortal earth', I have been painting miniatures, playing tennis, doing yoga, earning some money, eating ba chor mee at Vivo city (Singapore), reading Agatha Christie, packing my room and watching ratty movies.

Things I have been procrastinating include, updating you guys, repairing my scratched car and calling the bosses.

My brain however, has been actively...er...active. Experience have shown that ideas pop in and out when there is time to breath. I believe it's called oxygenating the brain cells. So please, do not for a minute think that I would go away and never come back (ala Jeff Buckley), I still have unfinished business.

ok, gotta go.

i always post the same old ting. haha. like that den good. noneed to tink what to write. LOL

anyways i've finished green grass of home and the family link. so i shall do a quick update on the two shows today, since they're only 20 episodes long.

Cast: Sunny Chan, Christine Ng, Suki Tsui, Yuen Wah, Lo Lok Lam, Lai Lok Yi, Natalie Tong..

hmmm this show is actually essentially about environmental protectiveness, which is actually kinda a fresh idea coming from TVB, but no matter what, whether the plot is about abalones, environmental protection, gold stores, housewives... there'll always be a love triangle NO MATTER WHAT!

i dun deny, i watched and carried on with this series because of sunny chan. hehe. ever since i saw him in war and destiny. and this time he didn't disappoint me either!yippee, his performance was good, although the chemistry between him and christine was much better when they were off as bosom friends. =x

but christine really looks 'old dry and skinny' as mentioned in the drama. haha. and she has that type of 'bitch' face and her voice also quite graty =D

but of cus, the show ends off happily, although it's rather lame. zzz.

3.5/5 stars for me!and most of the credit goes to sunny chan and chris lai lok yi!

Casts: Sheren Tang, Kiki Sheung, Cecilia Yip, Michael Tse, Leila Tong , John Chiang, Kenneth Ma, Fala Chen

prefered this series much more as compared to the green grass of home. hmmm mebbe it's because i can relate to this series as it is a housewife series. but to me, all the actors and actresses felt like they were playing the right parts, especially sheren!who has impressed me ever since i saw her in la femme desperado.

not to mention, this is like la femme desperado, only that it's COMPLETELY the opposite. LOL.

and it has quite a surprising factor that michael tse actually played a cross dresser!OMG if it was me i would have been revolted man. but he's so damn freaking brave to wear a dress and dance and canvass jus like a girl!*applaudes to him man!

and although leila tong's character was irritating in the beginning. i grew to like her character better and come to tink of it, she's actually quite pretty!

i give it a rating of 4/5 stars!

went to celebrate xian's birthday today!ZHU NI FU LU DONG HAI, SHOU BI NAN SHAN!

hehe, and we went to eat at that cheap japanese restaurant, before heading to kbox!i've been practically starved of singing for the past few months man!and this time, we sang alot of new songs. but seriously, jus wanna bring up a point.

we sang wo huai nian de twice, and actually we were singing quite well, UNTIL the part where yanzi smiles so radiantly because of the fireworks, and because her expression is so funny, we can never continue with the song man! =x i feel so guilty. lol

looking forward to next week when xian finishes work and we can all go out together!next up: birthday plans for ah yee!

anyways!im watching this next!

Phoenix Rising

Episodes 20

Cast Louisa So Yuk Wah, Sunny Chan, Leila Tong, Krystal Tin Yui Nei, Nancy Wu, Ben Wong Chi Yin, Jack Wu…

Synopsis
The rich bride-to-be YIM PUI-WU (SO YUK WAH, LOUISA) is arrested and thrown in jail for the murder of her adoptive mother shortly before her wedding. Desperate to prove WU’s innocence, NGA and FEI bustle around every day to look for evidence.

But things do not go quite the way they hope. NGA is pregnant with her boyfriend YIN LEUNG (CHAN KAM HUNG, SUNNY), but she is diagnosed with an incurable disease after her son is born. Knowing that her life is coming to an end, NGA decides to take the blame and undergo imprisonment for WU. FEI continues with the investigation but is shocked to discover that NGA’s medical report is a made-up one, which in fact is part of a conspiracy by WU. FEI cannot imagine why WU has suddenly become so heartless.

Helping NGA out of the sufferings in prison, FEI decides to help her escape. To eliminate all those who stand in her way, WU is resolved to do away with NGA. WU’s evil deeds have finally caused her beloved husband CHEUNG CHI-HOI (WONG CHI YIN) to lose his family, about which she feels so guilty.
