OMT check this out!

Seriously, after the 'twin-ker-ler, twin-ker-ler little star' version, this has got to be the funniest version of the old nursery rhyme. Imagine if my baby sister were to hear me singing it, she'll be saying 'JIE JIE!' faster than I can finish the sentence. Hehe!

Enjoy!

Am in Malaysia now, hence the delay in updates. When I'm back, updates on that unforgettable once in a lifetime session at Raffles and in Malaysia!

Both events straddle on the tips of the emotional scales. Guess which event is for which?

See ya guys soon in Singapore! I miss the Anwar-less place!

YES WE'RE CHAMPIONS IN OUR OWN RIGHTS!

Singapore has won the silver medal in the table tennis women's finals! Yes, we lost to China, but we didn't lost by just giving up! We bloody hell fought the hell out of them and lost with pride!

I LOVE THE TABLE TENNIS TEAM! First it was Jing Junhong who got me hooked on table tennis, now I've been watching Li Jiawei playing, and there's definitely more players like the all so cute Wang Yuegu (whom Eve and I thinks her actions are super cute!) and the super uber cool Feng Tianwei!

Damn, I teared when I read the article that Tianwei dedicated her medal to her father.

Take that, Ronald "Half-hearted" Susilo. If you just put the same effort as you did fighting for that house/car/I can't remember what it is, you'll probably have won.

Ah Bee put this in her blog, and I thought since I haven't done this in such a long time, why not?

Top 10 Favourite Drama Series [SG and HK]: (not in order, only Metamorphosis is number 1)

2 - War and Destiny
2 - The Drive of Life
2 - Tai Chi
2 - The Unbeatables series
2 - La Femme Desperado
2 - Dicey Business
2 - Truimph in the Skies
2 - Golden Faith
2 - Stepping Out
1 - Metamorphosis

I'm not as kua zhang as Bee to put all 10 choices as Metamorphosis. I think her eyes paste stamp one. LOL! Sure enough, Metamorphosis is my favourite drama, just like Bee. But there're other shows that are nice too!!!! =x

Top 5 Favorite Movies:
5 - The gods must be crazy!
4 - Infernal Affairs
3 - LOTR series
2 - Iron Man
1 - Cruel Intentions

Hmm, I watch a lot of movies leh. So when I was trying to go through my archives of movies, I really couldn't think of the 5th one leh. Then I realised, when I was young, I watched 'The gods must be crazy' and I loved that show! That poor coke bottle LOL!

Top 5 Favorite Bands:
5 - The Killers
4 - Mayday
3 - My Chemical Romance
2 - Maroon 5
1 - My Percussionists and band =x

Very little bands leh. I think I like soloists better LOL!

And I'm not gonna tag anyone to do it. I'm just plain bored.

Oh my god, this is very bad. I've actually fallen slack to blogging recently. There seems to be nothing to blog about recently. I haven't watched much TVB dramas lately, haven't done much to interest me in blogging. Probably the only recent events I've done is gone to Malaysia twice in a week, and of course, the driving.

Went down to Malaysia the previous Thursday for a wedding that most children will never get to see! And it was cool though! Family event, no grand wedding, just a simple affair. The food of course sucked, and I don't know why! But I managed to take like 500 photos of the affair. Wahaha! All thanks to my trusty camera. Some people ar, just don't know how to appreciate photography.

'Some of the pictures are blur leh!' Wah biang! I purposely created the effect can? But having said so, I haven't looked through all the photos yet, because I've been too busy to upload them to my computer and I need to burn the dvd as well!

Oops, I actually put on makeup that day. It was an itchy experience though. Kudos to women who put it on every SINGLE day. -.-

List of things to do post-wedding:
1) Upload the damn photos
2) Develop them
3) Burn the dvd
4) Compile and send it off!

Went up to Malaysia again last Friday. OMG, these visits are really making me very familiar around the USJ area man! But different company, different purpose of visit, different cars, different food. I almost became a bloody miaojing this time okay! And I got a full experience of how driving in Malaysia was. FUN BUT DANGEROUS! And I want to try as soon as I get my license. HEHE!

Good news though: I've completed my driving subjects. I'm left with evaluations and my auto car lessons, and then it'll be a long wait before I sit for my driving test. So damn bloody far la! It probably means I have to waste more money going for refresher courses lo!

TVB dramas to catch up on:
1) Dance of Passion (Taking a super long time to finish)
2) Catch me now
3) Forensic Heroes 2
4) Most of the dramas that have come out this year.

Yup and I'm wondering which university to go to. LOL!

Yay, finally I am hardworking enough to draft out the entry about Paint A Home 08. Actually this activity was organised by Achmed's fans, which was organised by some NUS community club. And yes, judging from the name of the activity, we were supposed to paint a home.

Think it's easy? Think again man!

When we first stepped into the home, there was already a HUGE ka-zua (cockroach) right across the corridor that we were supposed to cross. And that stupid insect was those flying ones with the super ultra long feelers la! All 5 of us just stopped there and didn't know what to do =x. In the end, we just ran right over the damned insect and rushed right into the dining hall.

Anyway, their efficiency was just about as quick as thick vicous mud would slide down a hill. I think we waited for like 40 minutes before the briefing started.

Our bunch and a few other people were assigned to paint this big room. But firstly, we had to clear the room of its furniture and the floor wasn't exactly clean la! It felt sticky and dusty and oily in some places and it took all I could to prevent myself from belching. We also had to move the cupboards that were aligned against the wall, and OMFG, a few lizards and cockroaches ran out from the nooks of the walls la!

Imagine our reactions, when the entire group was almost made up of girls -.-!

So anyway, after we shifted everything away and laid all the newspaper and protective coverings, we finally set down to whitewash the walls! It does seem easy at first you know, but after a while, the hands start to tire and ache and this is where 'youthfulness' comes in, I guess.

Poor Dajie, due to her height and her ability to squat like a samsui woman/ah sum for ages, she had to whitewash the bottom part of the wall. Wah seriously admire her ability to squat for so long. 5 minutes into squating and my legs will start to cramp la!

After whitewashing the walls, we sat down for lunch. There was chicken, soon kueh (huh?!), and tofu for lunch and it wasn't that bad. I bloody ate 4 soon kuehs la! Think I'll never touch them for some time again. Because Dajie was the one who 'kneaded' the soon kueh skins! Refer somewhere in the internet world for more details =D

Set about whitewashing the walls for a second time, and after that, we began painting the walls! Yay, although I don't like purple ar, but I found that the purple we used was quite nice leh! And I also found out that Bee is AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!

OMG, I never imagined that someone who flies around is afraid of heights. Wahaha, she was like so reluctant to go up the ladder, which in my opinion, was really high and after a while, you start to lose your balance a little. But I think overall, it was a good job done.

Bee and I then left early to meet JM at Eunos. And seriously, I still can't forget the taste of green tea with whisky!

After about 1 month of waiting, Bridge UP was finally nearing! You know, fans of Achmed (that's my nickname for her lah~ more special xD) are quite happening one leh. Probably in a few years' time, they'll be as happening as Yanziunlimited. Haha!

Anyway, met Bee and Dajie at Bishan Interchange. Btw, I didn't even know Bishan has an interchange. When Bee told me to wait at the intercharge, I was like "Huh? Where's the interchange?" to myself. Heng I managed to locate the place la. The BUZZ shop there was cool though, they had posters of Achmed on Seventeen magazine looking very much like Ms Sun during the WMDYT period.

I half wanted to wait until at night to take the posters down. Too bad, temptation not big enough. Haha! Seems like only the sun can tempt me to do vandalism =x

Went to Xinyi's house to help carry the stuff. And woah, either I must be getting really old, or I've grown weak. Halfway through the walk to the interchange (it's about 10 minutes walk), my legs started to cramp la! TMD! I thought it will go off after a while, but it stayed until I was halfway through the bus journey to Changi Village.

Oh, the bus ride was damn long. Haha, but it didn't feel long as Bee was chatting with me about photography stuff. Truth be told, I never see her talk so much before leh. Okay lah, sometimes I still need to crank my ears way up to hear her buzzing, but that's okay. LOL. Even Panda said that she never hear Bee speaking that much before!

At about 4.30pm, we finally reached the chalet. Eh, it's actually not a bad place you know. It looks like a decent house, and there's a full set of kitchen stuff for us to use, heaters that are working in the bathrooms, and air cons that can be operated! And it's cheap if we have any civil servant lobangs leh.

Started the fire at about 5.30pm I think. Bloody hell, there were so many cats there la. I've had a fear of cats since I was scratched like eons of years ago. But these cats keep coming! In the end, luckily the photographers took the cats to the other side, or else I'll be freaking out by now. Anyway, cat pictures to come soon!

For most of the chalet, I spent my time with JM bbq-ing food. Seriously, Yanziunlimited should open a bbq service that charges people for BBQs, because I think we're quite good at it xD.

At about 12am I think (I completely lost my sense of time during the chalet), we started playing water bombs. It was totally crazy, I went to the toilet for a while, and when I came back, all the water bombs were gone already. BUT that JM came up to me (and she was in my team!), and threw the water bomb on me la! TMD! That wasn't the worst actually;

The photographers who were in the safe zone suddenly threw water down on us. Of course, we ran upstairs and tried to open the door. You know, it's like those battering rams and Panda and I were like throwing ourselves against the door, hoping to get it open. Suddenly, when we tried opening the door, the door didn't have any resistance.

Turned out that Xinyi was right behind with a pail of water, and I was right in front of her! But luckily, I siam-ed fast enough and poor Kaevan got the full blast of water. I almost ROFLMAO on the spot la! So we charged in and pailed Xinyi! Then, I went over to where UFO, Yamie and Bee was, hiding behind the blankets. They thought that by covering themselves with the blankets, they would be safe, cus we didn't wanna pay extra for damages.

But HECK CARE! I threw the water on them still, and okay lah, luckily the blankets were taken away before I threw the water xD Some of them even stood on the beds, but none of us cared. We just kept throwing water xD and ended up flooding the room xD. Along with the flood came a few of Bee's tong leis, who obviously drowned in the water. Poor things.

After we swept the extra water in to the drains, we adjourned down. Some of them continued the Meta marathon, while I continued bbq-ing outside. Haha! I think about 2am, I went in to watch Meta with them all the way until 7 plus. In fact, I told the meats to fast forward Yvonne's parts cus it was really too sad to see Wanrou going down the dark side =x

Of course, we didn't skip the last part la! Eh that was probably the part that got her the Best Actress leh!

Went to White Sands' Macs to eat breakfast, and then we headed home. We was so freaking tired that we slept on the train. Once I reached home, I plonked down on my bed and slept all the way! And I was like just in time to wake up for the concert, which IMO, didn't perform good enough. Haha. I was so tensed everywhere from the lack of sleep and it really showed in my playing.

But all the same, I was glad that I could play with alumnus like Cai Pei and Hafiz, and I hope that more percussionists will join the alumni soon! Then I don't need to play drumset every single time. GIVE ME MY TIMPANI!

BUP details to be up soon!
Because I need to study for my FTT tomorrow!

Basically, we had tonnes of water and practically flooded the entire chalet. And JM and I were probably choked up with smoke because we were bbq-ing almost the entire night. =D

Hmm it seems like I only start to blog on public holidays! LOL! It's been one week since I blogged. Frankly, there isn't much for me to blog. If I'm not at home, I'm at the driving school. If I'm not at the driving school, I'm at home or at Rosewood. How lame can that be? But I get to save money, that's the one ultimate good thing that deters me from being mentally unstable LOL!

Anyways! I went to watch Iron Man for the 2nd time yesterday! And I must say, it's darn good. And not a moment boring even though I watched it for the 2nd time. Robert Downey Jr's eyes are like so freaking beautiful! He's the absolute person to play Iron Man. dashed with a little humor and action, I think this show is the first action movie I've enjoyed in years!

Oops, before I forget. HAPPY VESAK'S DAY!

Now for Indiana Jones and The Incredible Hulk. Wheee hee! Liv Tyler!
Went to Manhattan Fish Market after that to have dinner. And wow, I think Manhattan Fish Market is better than Fish and Co. leh! And the service is like ichiban! Took a picture of the combo platter that we ordered. Which is frankly for more than 2 people. The portions were so freaking huge! And dear Mr Wong actually ordered so much food la!

"STOP IT WITH THE SALAD!" LOL!

Went for night shooting at Esplanade with AB. And wah, I finally got a chance to really test out the different settings for the camera. And it's really cool man. I don't think my pictures are nice la, but I think with practice, sooner or later should be nice one. xD

I wanna go for morning shoot also! *WHISTLES FOR A CAR!*

I'm probably late by like 15 minutes, but all the same, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO MY DEAREST MUMMY AND MY DEAREST AH YEE! The two most motherly figures in my life! Without them, I probably would have become a delinquent lingering at the void decks just like Irene in True Heroes LOL!

My good friend has flown off to Beijing already, that lucky bugger! I hope he remembers to get me souvenirs! Because I want to go to Beijing as well! Eat the Peking duck, and go skiing at the resort there! All thanks to Fly Me to Beijing!

Dinner was at Chinatown though. I mean, wah, the frog leg porridge wasn't exactly great. Coupled with the fact that my hand saved the food from bird shit LOL! I was just reaching out for a piece of fried pork intestines when the bird shat! And I wasn't the only victim, my mum and cousin also kena. Don't know whether good luck or bad luck also. I'll take it as a good luck. More on the good luck later though!

We went to this temple after that. Seriously, no offences to Buddhists around the world, but I think Buddhist temples are really rich! I mean, those open to public have air cons in their gargantuan temples and their Buddha statue is actually entirely clad in gold! If I were to ever pick one of the tooths of the Buddha, I probably will be set for life lo!

That aside, of course the decorations were beautiful. But I can't appreciate them. Oh! There was this whole assembly of people chanting in the center of the temple la! It was cool though, I'm amazed how they can actually chant together in unison. LOL. PS: the words on the scripture are damn big. I could even see it. xD Allen even wanted to chant along to improve his Chinese for O's! LOL.

Enough about that though. Back to the good luck.

MANCHESTER UNITED ARE CROWNED CHAMPIONS FOR THE TENTH TIME! Wheeeee! This also marks the first time that I 'watched' a match without Man Utd losing! And what an apt timing it came at! 2-0 at Wigan JJB Stadium! And what can be better? Chelsea failing to win at Bolton! Muahahahaha!

Now I'm just waiting for the Champions League and it'll be Double for Man Utd! Glory Glory Man Utd!

HAPPY LABOUR DAYS GUYS!!!

Anyways, had a super super exciting and lucky day yesterday!

Finally, one day being justifiably reserved for slacking! The government should have more of these slacking days on the calender in my opinion =D.

The crowd at Jurong Point was crazy. Usually on working days, there'll already be alot of people around. Today it was simply crazy. I mean, there wasn't so much traffic where everyone couldn't even walk a step, but rather, all the restaurants were like bursting with customers, and almost every restaurant had a waiting line. *faints*

Crystal Jade's food was great though. I always wonder how they actually manage all their QC with soooooooo many branches. It's like I never get disappointed when I dine there you know? My favourite watercress with pork rib soup, long beans with minced meat xD I LOVE CRYSTAL JADE!

=x

A side note though: Yay to AB! Because she finally managed to persuade her daddy to get her a camera! And we're going for the Canon class next friday! Yay, thanks to AB's dad!

Oops, forgot to add this in. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEILING!

Okay, I haven't blogged here for like more than a week. Besides there isn't much to blog. There was Allen's concert, which I'm going to put up a few photos in the entry.

Not much news about Yanzi as usual - only that Joi Chua has taken over singing the NDP song this year. It's good actually, because Joi hasn't sung it before, and I'm pretty sure she has that voice to tug at the heartstrings of Singaporeans. Besides, Yanzi has said she wanted to give the chance to other singers, why not Joi?

I mean, she can sing great and definitely umpteens better than some certain animal. At least she doesn't snort or grunt, or wade in the water. Best of all, she doesn't stink! So yeah, probably will be watching this year's NDP for Joi. GO GO JOI!

Oops, by the way. I passed my advanced theory evaluation. But it was freaking close shave. I couldn't complete the practice papers (there were a freaking 11 booklets to complete!) and I freaked out a little during the evaluation. Heng ar, in the end, I just passed. (Meaning out of 50 questions, I answered 5 wrongly)

Luckily, I booked two practice sessions on the day of the actual theory test date. Driving's gonna start in a week's time. AND I CAN'T WAIT!

A family dinner. But this family dinner was expensive! We actually went to Paris International Seafood Buffet for dinner. And the amount of seafood there was, OMG justified the price. But I have a nagging suspicion that I can't really appreciate the seafood, because I only ate one raw oyster. And that's enough for a aphrodisiac man!

The meats were good though. I tried every single food there was. And there was a super kiasu moment of mine. I saw everyone taking black pepper crabs and I was like abit 不服气 that I couldn't get the crabs at all. So I waited there for 5 minutes, and true enough when the crab came, everyone just rushed to it. There wasn't even anything special about the crabs, it was too small for my liking, and not enough 口感. Yucks. Oh well, it proves I have a really Singaporean side to me. xD

Throughout the whole meal, I was like calculating how much I ate already, so as to justify the price. I proudly say that I think we justified the amount we ate in the end. Because we were one of the first families to reach there, but we were one of the latest to go. Tables which came in later than us, even left earlier than us! Haha!

I wanna thank all those who wished me Happy Birthday!

From School (BBSS, SP): Cindy (for chatting with me even though you had a huge sore throat), Sheryl, Lily, Lixin, Sophie, Evangeline, Yixin, Kelly, Nick, Joycelyn, June

From Yanziunlimited: Bee, Bear, Ade, Eve, Queen, JM, ZY, Joselyn, Candice, Shien, Sean, Jenny

From Yverlasting Yvonne, Jaslyn, Cyan, Xin, Kite, Jiamin, Eunice, Kaevan, Yvonne =x

From family: Mum, Dad, WS, Allen, Huixian, Ah Yee.

Individuals like Minni, Fanny and Bell too!

Thanks all loads you guys. It was really a great birthday. And if I left out anyone, please pardon me. I might have forgotten :)

New blogskin! Credits to Bee as usual. Haha. But I have to clarify one thing. As I don't have Photoshop now (OMG!), I have to use the very lovely banner of Ruien that Bee made previously. Don't come slamming me saying that I'm a 背叛-er hor!

I'm still a 劈腿-er.

I'm back, and I'm back with diarrhoea! WTF!

I never had any problems eating food from Ipoh before. I think it mus be the iced milk tea that I drank that caused this. And it was from a place that I never went to eat before!

RAWR! Shall update more within the next few days.

BTW, I saw The Master of Taichi previews in Astro Demand! VIN-LISSA! 巫马桑青!!!

Busy busy busy! Even though it's the holidays right now, but I'm still saddled with things to do and arrange, on top of worrying about my university applications now!

List of things to do:

1) Setting up of Yverlasting Yvonne website (Yes, I've finally gotten Yvonne a .com proudly!)
2) Sourcing of Yverlasting Yvonne windbreakers (So many restrictions, and the cost is like OMFG!)
3) Learning driving. (After I pass my basic test, I can book for my advanced theory and finally my practical!)
4) Find a damn job!

DRIVING DRIVING DRIVING! I'd better pass it the first time round or else it'll just be a waste of financial resources.

On a side note though, I want to wish luck because she's going for an op soon. Many many days of M/C. Plenty of time for me to catch up with her. LOL!
