wooohooo. i love bee's latest post. because she blogged about our own and only metamorphosis. not to mention, she uploaded some really cool videos of the show onto youtube =D

anyways to continue with my list of the nominees for the upcoming star awards, this post will be on the nominees for the best supporting actor/actress:

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR

QI YUWU [a.k.a the one who wants to act in movies] acts as CHEN TIANJUN in [THE PEAK]. he plays a playboyish, not believing in love kinda guy in the show. but when he meets dawn's character in the show, he falls in love with her only to have her snub him. haha. i tink the show would have been quite empty without his acting. and QI YUWU charms in the show =D. however i don't like his character la =x

ZHENG GEPING acts as HUANG ZHENFA in [THE HOMECOMING]. everyone knows that zheng geping is an accomplished character actor and he can act in so many shows and carry it off by himself too. here in the show he plays the timid but loyal friend, but he was the one who betrayed rayson tan's character in the show. =x great performance by him!

i know he won't get nominated for sure. cus THOMAS ONG isn't part of mediacorp. but he plays HU XICUN in the hugely popular [by my standards LOL] [METAMORPHOSIS]. he acts as a forensic doctor in the show who's in love with rui en's character. but as he is the leader of a 'terrorist' group that the police wants to hunt down, he becomes torn in his decision. THOMAS ONG IS SO HANDSOME IN THE WEDDING PHOTOS!

bee will love me for putting up this nominee. by the way, bee this week 8days got NATHANIEL HO photoshoot! haha. here he plays BAO WENGUO in [HONOUR AND PASSION]. considering this is his first major drama, he does a pretty good job by playing the youngest son who's lazy, irresponsible but wisens up when he enlists into NS.

BRANDON WONG plays LAI GUOQIANG in [THE HOMECOMING] ps: i made a mistake. vivian lai's character should be LAI QIANYI. =x he is the big brother to vivian's character and part of the bunch of buddies. fiercely loyal, he treads on the fine line of black and white. his favorite phrase in the show? 'SIAO AR?!'

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS

okay la i admit. i really love this character. YVONNE LIM plays WEN WANROU in [METAMORPHOSIS] seriously you guys have to watch the show to see her intense performance, because im always impressed with actors/actresses who can act with their eyes. and yvonne lim does it. she plays a kind hearted, good psychiatrist who turns bad because of an accident and a rape incident, which causes her to turn on hanwei's character. seriously, the 2 should win for best couple or something liddat LOL

JEANETTE AW plays JIANG XINHUI in [SWITCHED!] she plays an actress who has the looks but has to endure with a face switch which happens overnight. forced to live her life by having her ugly sister's looks [fann wong's], she learns a thing or two about life and that life is more than just having looks.

VIVIAN LAI plays LAI QIANYI in [THE HOMECOMING]. she plays a character who is in love with li nanxing's character. but her feelings were never returned. i've always liked vivian's acting and i tink her chinese is spoken quite uniquely [cus she's from tw i tink]. and she's quite pretty rite?hahaha

CONSTANCE SONG finally breaks her 'home wrecker' image and plays SESSY in [THE HOMECOMING]. she plays a CID cop who's married to rayson's character, but actually still cant forget her first love which is li nanxing's character. [WHY SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE LI NANXING'S CHARACTER? HE'S SO LKK] i dun actually have a very good impression of constance la, but she acted well in this drama =D

this entree wouldn't be on everyone's minds at first, but when u tink back, she really deserves it. EZANN LEE plays DU XIAO'AI in [MAKING MIRACLES] she plays a intellectually disabled child who's being taken care by fann's character. i love the way she acted and i could really feel that she did her research and she acted out how someone who's intellectually disabled would. a great performance.

best drama the next post!
