I've been long overdue for pictures, and these pictures actually were taken about more than 1 month ago, when she was at the Mediacorp Travel Fair.

Lol, plenty of funny stuff happened. But I'll just let the pictures do the talking, as I have to go and rest and get myself psyched up for tomorrow's LoveAMP concert, which stars my one and only YANZI!

It's such a terrible bore you know? Applying for university and knowing the fact that with my mediocre results, it'll actually be a miracle or rather a blessing if I actually got into either NTU or NUS. LOL! With the fact that I had to run around Singapore these few days applying for my driving, requesting SP's examination office for my lost exam result and taking care of my mum because she just had an eye operation.

TIRING LEH! But these are things that I must do, so I shall not grouch.

And yes, for once SP has smiled upon me! I initially thought that it would take like 3 to 4 days to process out my examination results and I was rapidly losing hope of sending my documents to NUS on time. But wheee! I got an early wake up call from a nice lady in SP saying that I can collect my results. I never loved SP for their efficiency before, but now I'm mincing my words: I LOVE SP FOR HER EFFICIENCY!

Now may NUS accept my late document which will arrive at your office tomorrow!

Anyways I was saying it's a bore to do all the above stated things, but I'm really glad I have these few personalities to perk me up. Of course, notwithstanding my family and friends. But you guys should know that you have a permanent place in my heart, so don't question me about your position =D

Carlsburg Lunar New Year Special by Channel U

欧阳和婉柔一起唱歌哦!!!

OMG, it was freaking awesome! The whole show, the preshow, and the post-show was simply too great! It really makes a difference what 1 single person can do to an entire show!

It started with me finishing my QEM paper, oh, that was quite easy! Save for the fact, that I got one equation wrongly remembered, but I guess I'll do overall pretty well for it. Probably lost around 20 marks or so? HAHA! Anyways, went home and got ready to go to Mediacorp. But not before buying a packet of Fisherman's friend and 4 mandarin oranges. What to do with them? Find out below!

Met Bee and Pew at Mediacorp reception around 4pm. I think we were just a little too late! We were still at reception at 4.10pm and Yvonne actually arrived at Radio Gate at 4.10 pm! Ahhh, super no fate. But after waiting for a while at Radio Gate, where we saw Felicia Chin, Fann Wong, Julian Hee and Jeanette Aw, me and Bee decided to head back to the reception.

And who talked about having no fate?! Just when we reached there, we saw Yvonne coming to us 10 minutes later to pass me the tickets. Actually I didn't expect that she will put the tickets there personally herself. AND MY OH MY, didn't she look so pretty! I mean, her hair was in curls and she LET HER HAIR DOWN! Wah, I was super mesmerised. HAHA! She wore very casual clothes as usual. Here's where the Fisherman's Friend comes in, I passed her the packet of sweets and said:

“你今天有唱歌对吗？呐，这个是给你的！”

Hmm, Yvonne must have been stunned. Haha, cus actually most recordings done in the big theatre are lip sync-ed. And she thought I didn't know that. Wah lao, I go MDC so many times to see Yanzi before leh! Although she doesn't lip sync, but aiya, trade secret ma!

Bee and me stoned around the reception area from 5 plus to 7 plus, waiting for the rest to come. At around 7, decided to go down and join the others to wait. Fast forward to when we entered the studio. Found a seat RIGHT DEAD in the center where no one was blocking our views and we could see the sound engineer's script clearly =x

The show started with a bang man, firstly, all the stars gathered in the center to sing the all chinese-y CNY songs. And that was where we saw artistes like, Hung Wee, Pan Lingling, Fann Wong, Brandon Wong, Ong Ai Leng, Edmund Chen and etc etc. All the stars were then introduced one by one, and I was laughing like mad cus it was sooooooooo cheena. =x

But seeing Hung Wee and Yvonne in the same row singing the song made it better. =D

The show was actually REALLY boring until the very last part, where Mark Lee and Michelle Chia said that the last item was HUNGWEE AND YVONNE PERFORMING TOGETHER! Wah, immediately our entire row highed man! Because most of us love the pairing of Hungwee and Yvonne because of Metamorphosis. You know, OUYANG-WANROU!

We were actually fantasizing about the pairing during the commercial break. And then I saw Hungwee's head popping out from behind the curtains and it was soooooooo METAMORPHOSIS! Because there was this scene where Ouyang popped his head from the door and said:

“下个星期，一样时间，不见不散！”

Then came the actual performance! OMG! They were so sweet to each other! I mean, Yvonne was practically dancing around Hungwee during one part of the song, and they even held hands together for more than 10 seconds! 欧阳 and 婉柔 never got to hold hands in the show at all. So they must be making up for it now! HEHE! Everyone was practically drooling over the both of them lo!

And Ms Fann Wong had to spoil it all by standing RIGHT BETWEEN THE BOTH OF THEM during the final segment where all the stars came out together! Wah lao eh! I tink we practically booed Ms Wong man! After which, all of us started getting too damn high, and we shouted:

“欧阳婉柔！！！” four times! LOL!

I tink Hungwee heard us screaming that, Yvonne didn't hear. AIYA! WASTED!

Chionged to Radio Gate after the show as usual. Wah this time, we didn't wait very long leh. Just when I got there, me and Bee saw Hungwee's car and he was talking on the phone while driving! Dangerous leh!!! Haha, then he started driving off. In the middle, he seemed like he was slowing down, so me and Bee ran as usual there, but salah la! He stopped so that he could finish talking on the phone and then after that he just drove off. Damn pai seh can! HAHA!

After we walked back, Yvonne's car came out! LOL, I stood in the middle of the road and waved to her. Went to the side of the pavement a little further up and there was one funny thing though. As she was driving, I was running alongside her car. Eh, I would have ran faster than her car if her car didn't drive so close to me lo. I got a fright out of my life LOL!

Cyan's going to kill me but I can't exactly remember everything that she said leh!

Yvonne then winded down the window and I said hi of course. Lol, then she felt it weird to talk out of the car, hence she wound up the window and stood out of the car. Wah Yvonne's damn quick can. I haven't even gotten a chance to say anything and she said she's not going to get tickets for us to the Ch8 show because she wants us to eat reunion dinner with our families. Wah, zek ark leh! LOL.

I did most of the talking just now so I'm trying to recall what I exactly asked and what she exactly said.

Asked her whether she heard us screaming, and Yvonne replied yes! Haha, so our voices are actually loud la. But the worst ting was that, Yvonne heard us screaming 湘萍 and she didn't hear us screaming 欧阳婉柔! And after we screamed four times for nothing! I wan the Liang Teh to drink leh! Have to say that Yvonne is getting older! Haha, she said she bought some things from Japan for us but she forgot to bring!

Oh which reminds me. I then took out that 2 mandarin oranges which I bought and gave it to her. Okay la, a bit pai seh. Cus only me give oranges. Haha, but it's courtesy ma. Cus CNY is so near the corner, everyone that we see must give oranges ma. Then she said she'll only give me angpow after she gets married HAHA!

Hmm, she asked about Jiamin's results and Jiamin was so shy in telling her la. In the end, Yvonne told me to 'talk to Jiamin' HAHA! But I don't know how to talk leh. After which, Yvonne asked me about my exams, but she said I will do okay. Cus I got those studying face. 'Har? I got studying face? I won't do homework one lehhhh!' LOL. Not bad, I got a smart face WAHAHA!

Oh! Yvonne got to know my very very good friend - Bee! Haha, Bee was quite shy la, she stood at one side, not knowing what to say, because she's not exactly Yvonne's fan. But Yvonne suddenly spoke up and asked Bee who was she. And surprisingly, Yvonne could remember Bee's name cus she saw Bee's posts in the forum before. Wah lao, Bee only posted 2 times in Yverlasting yet Yvonne can remember her nick. Damn pro!

I whispered to Yvonne that Bee was a Rui En fan, then Yvonne had that =.=! face. LOL. But she quickly recovered and said never mind la, it's okay, because Rui En and her were friends. WHEEEEE! Rui En fans should make friends with Yverlasting friends, so that we can all help each other out in times of need lo!

Told her about Cyan, Rank and Heam sending her regards. And Yvonne actually diao-ed me when I said about me asking Cyan to come down from Malaysia. And I actually countered back saying:

“不要ｄｉａｏ我！”

Lol, Bee even said that she saw Yvonne diao-ing me alot of times. Haha, super used to it la. That's like Yvonne's favourite hobby when she sees me nowadays.

Oh yeah! Yvonne mentioned about going to China for a week nearing the end of February with 4 of the Star Search guys to film a variety show under Mediacorp. Exact dates, I don't know because she refused to tell me! Haha, I tink she knows I will go there to send her off so she purposely don't tell me. RAWR!

Asked her the all important question on whether she had any new dramas coming up. And sadly, Yvonne said no, at least not in the meantime. But she's doing a lot of events now and I'm pretty sure she'll get to act la. So no worries. Told her about [A Mobile Love Story] going to air on TV and Yvonne was pretty surprised. HAHA! We mentioned it will be shown during the weekends, and Yvonne gamely said never mind.

GOOD! I LIKE HER GUTS!

When I questioned further about the dramas part, Yvonne actually countered back at me while pointing to Bee, “芮恩也是没有戏对吗？” Wah, she win liao lo. I couldn't counter back at all. HAHA!

Then it was time for pictures again. LOL! I had to take a picture with her this time because this is my first picture of her without tying her hair! And she looked sooooooooo pretty! I was really mesmerised man!



Gosh, she looks damn hiao here! HAHA! Must be because of her hair la. And is it me or does her face look erm, different? LOL! Anyways her face was white as usual, and I was saying that it was due to Lancaster products and she agreed with me WAHAHA!

Told her I'll get some CNY products for her from Malaysia. And yay! Yvonne likes pineapple tarts too! Especially those with alot of pineapples. AHHHH A FOOD LOVER! Wheee, I'm so gonna get the tarts for her, and I told her: "I give you the tarts, you give me the Japan stuff." LOL! And she said ya, and to meet her sometime lo!

Oh, Bee's mum came to talk to Yvonne also! And Yvonne also waved to Bee's father and actually stopped her car beside their car to apologise for making Bee stay until so late! HOW SWEET CAN SHE GET????!

Wheee! Another important day to mark down on my diary of life!

YVONNE CALLED ME! Lol, it was quite funny actually. When my phone rang, and I saw a 'Withheld' word there, I absolutely did not think that it would be Yvonne at all. I mean, where got Best Actress will call for no reason one?

"Hi, Audrey!" was what I got.

I recognised the voice, but at that moment of time, I was tooooooo high to actually figure out who it was. My heart started beating DAMN fast. And for the first time in my life, I actually stammered in my speech.

"Urm, ahhhhh, errr......... Yvonne ah?" was what I stammered out.

Lol, that Yvonne also very funny, she didn't want to say out her name when I was haw-har-ing! Then in the end, I felt so stupid HAHA! Anyways, she told me that she's going to appear on both Ch8's and ChU's CNY shows, and that ChU's show is pre-recorded. So she got tickets for us! I think great minds think alike, because I was just about to email her whether she was able to get us tickets, and she called me!

She told me the details of the show but you know, my mind was soooooo freaking blank at that moment of time, and right after she finished saying everything, I 'HUH?' and Yvonne had to repeat everything over again. LOL. Up till now, I still can't believe that she called me at all! I mean, wah lao eh! HAHA! I don't know if any one of you guys will actually feel what I'm feeling.

She told me that she just left Mediacorp and was recording a song. And I actually incredously said 'HUH?! Record song ar?' and I sounded quite skeptical actually LOL. Yvonne also said that the seats were free seating, and that we have to queue up early if we want to get good seats. I then proceeded to tell her about my not being able to attend the Ch8 one because I was going to Malaysia.

I can't exactly remember everything that she said to me. But anyways! If anyone of you happens to read my blog, and you want to go for the show, which is this Friday at 7.30pm. Please either tag on my tagboard or sms me!

Whee, another 8 more days and my life at SP is going to come to an end. The thought of it thrills me you know, having 熬过 this past 3 years without having much friends. =D

Anyways shocking news! Just when the news that MC King passed away was about to settle down, another tragedy hit Singapore. Or rather, Hollywood. I'm not sure if this guy is actually popular here in Singapore, but he was popular enough for me to recognise him in films such as say, Brokeback Mountain? The upcoming Joker in the new Batman movie?



Yeah, it's Heath Ledger. OMG right?! He's only 28 and has a daughter, and suddenly he was just found dead in the Olsen twins' apartment with pills around him. His death isn't really surprising, but what the heck was he doing in the Olsen twins' apartment when I doubt he's actually on good terms with them? Did he just happen to rent the apartment, or *GASPS!* the Olsen twins brought him there and killed him! LOL.

Guess we'll just have to wait for the autopsy report to be out before we can conclude anything. But I'll take the funnier option that one of the Olsen twins killed him, because they can seriously look quite deadly with their current looks, what with all the anorexia that they're undergoing.

Anyways back to Asia.

I've just finished watching Fathers and Sons! Oh and yeah, it's quite good! I mean one of the better dramas that TVB has done in 2007 at least. It was quite enjoyable watching the show, and I thoroughly thought that the actors were quite well casted. And of course, it was refreshing to see Wong Hei back after such a long hiatus!

The good:

The actors/actresses were quite good in acting! I mean, with marquee names like Bobby, Ha Yu, Wong Hei, Yoyo, Tavia, I was sure that I'd get something better than as compared to say, Price of Greed? And the theme song is tops! I totally love the theme song sung by Eason Chan. The storyline was good too and definitely the child actors were amazing! Plus, it had a family feeling around it and anything that has to do with family sure rock balls!

The bad:

WAH I HATED THE ENDING! TVB has this habit of making bad endings for dramas, and so even if the drama is good overall, it would have been let down by the mediocre ending. This was no exception. Everything was too sudden and too perfect in my opinion. And one more thing: I hated that Tavia broke up with Wong Hei. I was actually rooting for Wong Hei and Tavia to be together!

Overall rating: 3.5/5 for me. It's good, but the ending was really disappointing after I had high hopes for it.

Flying back to Taiwan! I've been listening to Fahrenheit's new album recently and haha, I actually prefer the songs in this album as compared to the previous one. But I have to bring up one important point: I DO NOT LIKE FAHRENHEIT! I mean, I make it a point never to support 偶像派 groups, and to always support 实力派 groups. (I don't know if I typed 派 correctly).

And Fahrenheit definitely is a 偶像派 group. Throw in one or two good singers and the rest are just pretty boys and TADAH! You have yourself a new idol group. I mean, I don't say it without evidence of course. Take a look at the video below.



I love the song actually. But Wu Zun's singing is just really below par. I think he better not sing in future and just continue to act and look pretty. Yan Ya Lun's singing is obviously the best in the group and I actually like his voice. It's a pity he's in the group. Oh and don't you think, Wang Dong Cheng's lips look too red? LOL. Sighs. Fahrenheit fans, please do not kill me. I'm just stating my own opinion.

Finally! Yes, another post on Yvonne. I must be utterly mad to post continuously about her everyday. LOL. Anyways, I've just finished watching the trailers for [A Mobile Love Story], which is an idol-based 20 episodes drama. Now take it from me that I never watch idol dramas, especially after MVP Valentine. So actually I wasn't actually gaga over this show when it surfaced a few months back.

But when I was surfing through trusty old Youtube today, I found the videos and started watching it. OMG, I'm not too sure if it was Yvonne that pulled me into the drama, but I got very hooked on watching the trailers itself! I mean, the drama has all the makings of an idol-based drama, but something is inside the show that other shows lack. I think it's Yvonne that other shows lack. Which is why, I'm going to buy the VCD if it comes out in stores. Take a look at the trailers below.





From what I can infer, Wallace and Yvonne were a couple last time, and Wallace dedicated a win to Yvonne, and said something along the lines of not being able to do anything if not for the help of Yvonne. After which, Yvonne proposed to Wallace. Har? Why did Yvonne propose to Wallace? Shouldn't it be the other way round?

Anyways, at the wedding, Yvonne actually ran away from the wedding for God-knows what reason. Wallace then tried to call her phone but someone else picked it up. Shall not say too much about the someone else but I'll just skip to Yvonne's parts. Yvonne found out she had cancer and could not live for long, which was why she ran away from the wedding.

Heard that she had a second wedding in the show before she passed away peacefully. OOPS! SPOILER! But the main point is: why does Yvonne have to suffer in almost every drama that she acts in? STUPID PRODUCERS! She really look like she like to die meh?

In [Stepping Out], she acted as Haiyan who was abused by the husband and made to walk on fire. In [An Enchanted Life], she acted as Shanqi whose father did not want to acknowledge her at first. In [A New Life], she acted as Ahmei, who had cancer and died in the show. In [True Heroes], she acted as Irene who tried committing suicide but couldn't (LOL!). In [Beautiful Illusions], she acted as Xiaofen who was killed by Nick Shen's character. Lastly, in [Metamorphosis], she acted as Wanrou who was raped and then subsequently killed herself.

WAH LAO! Out of so many dramas, only in [An Enchanted Life] did Yvonne had a happy ending. When will Mediacorp actually start giving Yvonne nicer roles to act in ar? I have to admit though, a sad ending will actually get a Best Actress award. LOL. Cue: Metamorphosis.

It's my 500th post! WAHAHA! Agenda for today: dissing and highing.

Yesterday was the last episode of The Golden Path. Much as I love watching Mr Tay inside, me and Bee found the show too draggy. I mean, it's 30 episodes long! And I have to bear the brunt of every 'Kaijie' haters' comments. Not an easy job man, but I managed to pull through amidst the insults and swear words that were directed at Mr Tay. :)

Well, if you guys read Bee's blog, you would have seen that her heading was 'LAME ENDING FOR THE GOLDEN PATH!' and yes, I couldn't agree more! When I watched the last episode through MOBTV last week, I didn't find it that bad. However, when I watched the show last night, indeed, I found the ending lame. Such a grand production, but they didn't do the ending well enough.

And they used a scene from Metamorphosis! When Jinlong was escaping from the police and they had a car chase, they drove around in a spiral carpark that was not unlike Metamorphosis episode 2 where Hungwee was clinging to the top of the car! I realise that it's a grand production for commemorating 25 years of drama, but somehow, I found that scene in Golden Path random?

Too random if you ask me.

Oh yes, they used that instrumental song from Metamorphosis too. You know, the song which was played when Wanrou (ARGH!) died in the last episode? Very heart-wrenching, and every single time the song was played during Golden Path, I would keep thinking of that particular scene when Wanrou (ARGH AGAIN!) took her own life. Sighs.

Overall the Golden Path deserves a 4/5. And I have to admit, 3 of the stars are for Mr Tay, while the remaining star is for Cai Peixuan, who rocked balls as Bak Kut Girl!

Next, Yvonne left a message to us about the Lancaster event. Haha, I know I don't normally post her messages here, but I think I'll make an exception this time. Just because it's Yvonne, and just because it's my 500th post.


Isn't she just the sweetest. I'm going to post what she typed below, because by the time anyone tries to read the message without clicking on the picture to see the full size, they would have lost their sense of sight already. LOL.

Haha isn't she just the sweetest?

Next, S-POP show! I never thought that I could be high watching the S-Pop show last night. Initially at the recording itself, I wasn't high at all man, because previously I had gone to Mediacorp for 2 times during that period of time. And I was also still high-ing over the previous event. For more details on the previous event, please read my December posts.

Anyways, ALOT OF THE SHOW WAS CUT! From a 5 hour recording, the producers and editorial team actually cut it down to 1 hour. That was seriously not enough to satisfy my craving for Yanzi at all! But I'll take what I can get. And coincidentally, I found that watching the show on TV itself was more satisfying than being there. One of the reasons might be due to the torturous positions we were forced to adopt during the show.

Another reason might be due to the fact that we noticed some different expressions on Yanzi's face during the show. Haha. And even though we helped her sing during The Moment, Yanzi still sounded off tune! HAHA! And our 'Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.....' during First Day could be heard super clearly la! So embarrassing.

Guess what? That wasn't the most embarrassing thing. The producers decided that they loved JM, Eve and me so much that they decided to put our three faces on almost every frame of the show! Wah kao, I had numerous calls and sms-es from my friends asking if that was really me on TV. And let me clarify: that was indeed me!

Ugly ol' me, but yes, it's me in life!

Japanese cuisine chef CHUNG YAU-WO (Michael Tao) has long been in love with his childhood friend KO YAU-MEI (Louisa So), who is always interested in pursuing a career in showbiz. To realize her dream, WO lies to the press and refers to MEI as “a most talented chef of the time”. With WO’s help, MEI has finally landed a job as the host of a food program. As MEI is completely clueless about cooking, WO decides to do her a favor by offering to be her assistant, which irritates his mentor KO SHAU (Paul Chun), also father of MEI, beyond measure.

Although the food program turns out to be very popular, MEI often gets picked on by her half sister YIM LAI (Bernice Liu) while at work. LAI is angry with SHAU for being bad to her mother and she means to make things difficult for MEI as revenge. In order to boost her fame and the ratings, MEI reveals to the media the private life of WO and herself, consequently leading WO’s career to a downfall. To escape from the misery of failure in both career and relationship, WO decides to leave for Japan and starts a new life there. SHAU feels the need to give MEI a lesson and resolves to reveal the truth to the press. In the meantime, LAI has also exposed a long-kept secret of SHAU, which has severely tarnished his reputation in his field overnight.

Seriously, The Gentle Crackdown II doesn't seem interesting AT ALL! Besides I'm not a fan of Steven Ma, and 'Who's that girl?'?!. Definitely not watching that. But Wasabi Mon Amour seems interesting, might just give it a shot man! But there's Bernice inside. Sighs, she's really being promoted by TVB like hell, just like how TVB promoted Charmaine like hell the past few years.

Speaking of which, there was recently an event at Causeway Point and I heard many TVB stars were going to appear! SHIT! I soooooooooo want to go! I hope there's another event like this again. The current TVB people I wanna meet are: Kevin, Myolie, Bosco, Tavia, Raymond and Bobby! Sighs, someone take me to Hong Kong please!

Went to Lancaster Beauty Talk event yesterday. Haha the main purpose was to see Yvonne la, but truth be told, I found the talk quite interesting, especially when Yvonne and Diana were sharing their beauty tips. And one very very important lesson I learnt was to apply sunblock everywhere I go, because it will help to keep our skin fair!

Wah that means my skin really not bad leh, because I don't even put sunblock when I go out, yet I'm still quite fair. Of course not as fair as Yvonne's la. Her skin is literally pale lor~ LOL. We were waiting for her appearance when she stepped into the auditorium, and me and Kaevan waved to her. Haha, okay she's not blind; she saw us and waved to us xD

During the talk, there was very easy banter between the 4 ladies on stage. One of them was a beauty consultant, another was the host, and of course Diana and Yvonne. Diana's english rocks man. I mean it's so perfect! And I think she's a very suitable candidate to come and talk about beauty, because she has beauty and brains man! And not to mention, 3Bs! Business, baby and HUBBY! And the hubby happens to be the very very hunky dory James Lye. SEE BELOW FOR PICTURE!

Anyways to cut short a long story, after the talk was over, I went over to Yvonne and 'slapped' her shoulder and said 'Hey!' LOL I think many people thought what the hell I was doing. xD She said that her cough was still very bad, and I told her it sounded bad still, and my voice wasn't too good either. Haha, we were like 2 frogs talking to each other!LOL

Then I got diao-ed by her again. She ask whether my FYP was over, and I said yes, but there were still the main exams. So Yvonne asked me to study, then I told her: 'I think I have to repeat another semester lor anyway!' and I got diao-ed. Haha. Then I asked her if she repeated modules before, and Yvonne exclaimed 'NO!' Haha.

I NEED TO STUDY MAN! Haha, I also don't want to retain at SP another semester lor~

Okay will update on Lancaster properly if I have the time. Shall go back to studying now. But before that: pictures from the event!
